The University of Kansas Cancer Center has more than 160 researchers
from across the state and region. They are focused on answering
the toughest questions about cancer and translating those discoveries
into new prevention, detection, and therapeutic agents. The Kansas
Masonic Cancer Research Institute (KMCRI) is the research arm of KUCC
and coordinates the three established and two developing cancer research
programs, seven shared resources, seven disease working groups, grant
funding, pilot projects, summer research training program, the post-doctoral
program, the Protocol Research & Monitoring Committee (PRMC), and
the Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB).
